Drawing inspiration from iconic figures like GLaDOS from the Portal game series, this render showcases the super AI robot in its full, chilling glory. Suspended from the ceiling, its serpentine form comprises three segments, reminiscent of both an arm and a snake, adding layers of depth to its design. This multi-segmented design not only imbues the robot with a sense of flexible agility but also paints a picture of mechanical evolution, pushing the boundaries of traditional robotic constructs. Throughout the many designs I made, I decided to change the scale of the EVA. Initially it was very large, but then I realised the size of a human embryo is very small so I needed to adapt the size of the EVA in order to emphasize the main focal point, which is the embryo.
As the robot speaks, the meticulous movement and articulation of its body comes to life, blurring the line between machine and living entity. The dynamics of its motion, combined with its voice, brings forth a disconcerting blend of organic fluidity and mechanical precision. This render serves as a testament to the advancement of AI – a glimpse into a future where machines might not just think, but also express, emote, and perhaps, even deceive.
