I was talking to my friends about how machines are taking over, and a thought came to my mind about what a world about their purpose. I saw an artwork by Sun Yang and Peng Yu which shows a robot with a large arm pushing crimson colored liquid back and forth. But each time it tries to gather all the liquid, the liquid then pours out as the laws of gravity work against it. In this scene this robot has no real purpose - a theme that is often depicted in the visual arts. But what if robots did have an ability to have purpose, to feel and to enjoy?
In this 3D artwork, I delve into the realm of futuristic automation, showcasing a scenario where robots assume responsibilities for even the most hedonistic human activities. The centerpiece of this creation is a meticulously crafted machine, endowed with three versatile arms, each one deftly managing multiple cigarettes. This mechanical marvel is anchored to a wooden beam, situated within the confines of an attic-like space, a setting that juxtaposes the traditional with the ultramodern.
